Cyberleek hacker threatens to release a playable version of Grand theft car VI (GTA 6), from the beginning to the end credits, before its official release. The hacker conditions this leak on a capitalization of $30 million for his cryptocurrency and demands that Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar Games, launch physical editions and a public apology.

Cyberleek ready to offer a playable version of GTA 6

In a message posted on its site, Cyberleek details the conditions of this threat. Claims to have a full version of GTA 6with the entire story mode playable until the end credits. To convince skeptics, he even offers to provide specific information upon request. Here is his message:

Here are the conditions, simple and direct. If the capitalization of CYBERLEEK reaches 30 million, the version of the game will be published with the full story mode, playable until the end, including the end credits. You doubt that [Cyberleek] Does it have a full story mode? Ask to see what you want and we will provide it to you. Take-Two only has one way out: physical records and a public apology. They can accept at any time. Or they can risk thinking CL is lying. Everyone knows what they will choose.

Cyberleek refers to the lack of an announced physical edition for the game, which it aims to impose on Rockstar and Take-Two. Their message does not set any deadline for reaching the financial threshold or making the game available. Therefore, the threat is based on a situation linked to the market of its cryptocurrency, without a precise calendar.

A massive leak still far from confirmed

This new threat comes after the leak of 25 minutes with the game. Some images showed development features and character modifications. In total, Cyberleek has published more than an hour of scenes and gameplay, which fuels suspicions about its possible access to a playable version. However, the exact origin of the files and their age remain uncertain.

The case also raises questions about the cryptocurrency associated with the Cyberleek name. The account disappeared after around $250,000 worth of tokens were withdrawn, causing its value to drop sharply. Therefore, the new message could be used to attract buyers and increase the capitalization of the token. However, nothing confirms that Cyberleek actually has a complete and recent version of the game or that it will publish it if the announced threshold is reached.

Rockstar and Take-Two have already taken legal action with Discord and Microsoft to obtain information related to previous leaks. GTA 6 will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19. With the planned release just over a month away, full disclosure would pose a significant risk to Rockstar Games, assuming the Cyberleek threat is real.
