Disney+ has decided to raise its prices once again. As things stand, this seems to affect only the United States. France escapes it, but for how long?
Another price increase for Disney+
here it is the new Disney+ prices :
- Standard with advertising: $12.49/month (was $11.99/month)
- Premium: $21.49/month (was $18.99/month)
You should know that this is the fourth price increase for Disney+ in the United States in four years. It’s starting to hurt subscribers and many of them, as expected, have expressed their discontent on social media with the implementation of the new price.
When Netflix or other streaming services increase their prices, we have the right to say the same thing: that investments in movies and series are increasingly important, hence the price change. Here Disney+ didn’t even use this argument. The platform increased its prices without justification.
In France, the last price increase for Disney+ dates back to February 2025. The standard subscription with advertising increased from 5.99 euros to 6.99 euros per month. For its part, the Standard subscription saw its price increase from €9.99 to €10.99 per month. As for the Premium subscription, its price has gone from €13.99 to €15.99 per month.
When will there be a price increase for Disney+ in France? We must hope it is as late as possible. But hey, we suspect that the Mickey group will soon review their prices in Europe and elsewhere after the United States.
