Perhaps you have seen it during the Microsoft conference on October 7. On this occasion, several RTX Spark PCs were presented, with a new Windows 11 wallpaper that attracted attention. However, it was impossible to download it, since Microsoft had not made it available to the public, not even in its official website dedicated to wallpapers.
Well, we’ve finally found this famous wallpaper, along with four other equally pretty variations. And if you like any of them, now you can download it for free. Here’s how to get them back.
Where do these new Windows 11 wallpapers come from?
As reported Windows CenterThe wallpaper seen during the Microsoft conference on October 7 was finally found by a netizen in the files of Microsoft Retail Demo Experience (RDX), an application used to present Windows PCs in stores.
Then, a few days later, another user managed to get their hands on not one, but five Windows 11 wallpapers, including the one seen at the conference. Then he shared them on reddit so that everyone can benefit from it.
And looking at the file names, we noticed something interesting. Each one has a name that corresponds to one of the five PC categories highlighted by Microsoft in its official website :
- Basic Essentials : PCs intended for the simplest uses, such as browsing the Internet or watching videos.
- Daily productivity : PCs designed for office automation, studies and multitasking.
- Professional creator : PCs intended for content creation, such as photo editing or video editing.
- power games : PCs designed for video games.
- Superior performance : High-end PCs intended for users looking for good performance.
Therefore, we can assume that Microsoft created these five wallpapers to illustrate its different categories of Windows 11 PCs. This would explain why each image has its own colors and design. But at the moment there is nothing to confirm this hypothesis.
