Bouygues Telecom becomes the first French operator to directly integrate its services into ChatGPT. You can compare carrier plans, choose a smartphone, or check your fiber eligibility simply by chatting with OpenAI’s AI chatbot. It is accessible even with a free ChatGPT account.

Compare Bouygues Telecom packages without leaving ChatGPT
This is not a simple chatbot that answers questions about the operator’s offers. This application (plugin) available directly on ChatGPT has a configuration engine connected in real time to the company’s secure APIs. In this way, it retrieves commercial information directly from the operator, in particular prices and characteristics of the offer, to avoid responses based on obsolete data.
The app offers three main features. Users can compare Mobile and landline offers from Bouygues Telecom Depending on your needs, select a smartphone based on different criteria, such as its color or storage capacity, and then check out the financing solutions available. It is also possible to test your eligibility for fiber optics and to the different Bbox offers.
Exchanges may be carried out in writing or by voice. To access the service, simply search for “Bouygues Telecom” in the list of applications (plugins) available on the ChatGPT home page. A paid subscription to ChatGPT is not necessary.
The sales process is almost entirely done in ChatGPT. The redirection to the Bouygues Telecom site only occurs in the last step, when the user wishes to validate their basket and finalize their subscription.
However, it should be noted that the application is used to explore the Bouygues Telecom catalogue. It is not an independent comparator that allows you to directly compare the prices of all operators.
ChatGPT becomes a new commercial channel
This integration is part of the artificial intelligence strategy of Bouygues Telecom, which has been working to automate and improve its customer relations since 2017. The operator has developed, in particular, a voice sales assistant on its website and several conversational assistants on its mobile application. ChatGPT now completes this set by opening a new entry point to its commercial offerings.
Romain Moloney, digital director of Bouygues Telecom, presents this arrival as a new stage in the CAP 2030 strategic plan. The operator aims to be the first in the French telecommunications market. However, other French companies, such as Chronopost, had already integrated their services into ChatGPT in other sectors.
